Salutations class, my name is Jesse Cummins. I’m a freshman at Florida Gulf Coast University, and I am currently living in North Lake Village. Soccer is my passion; there isn’t a day in the week that I wouldn’t be willing to play a quick game. I have been playing soccer since I was 6, and I have played for many different state teams and other travel teams. I graduated from Santaluces community high school. I played varsity soccer and volleyball for my high school. I also played in the drum line for our high school marching band. On my free time I like to volunteer at the soccer fields by my house and referee the younger kids’ games. Also, I am absolutely infatuated with the beach. I enjoy surfing, skim boarding, and just relaxing with my friends. If it wasn’t clear enough by what I have stated already, I prefer to be outdoors and doing some sort of physical activity. I am skilled in mathematics and most sciences, but I often find myself struggling in English and history classes. I have a pretty average family with one sister and both my parents together and alive. My sister is 16 and we have been practically best friends our whole lives. As for pets I’ve had a number of different varieties. I’ve had 3 dogs, 4 cats, 2 snakes, an iguana, and some fish. I am majoring in environmental engineering which requires a very rigorous schedule and lots of studying. I plan on finding a way to work towards the restoration of the Florida everglades or on finding more efficient energy sources. Basically, I am an athlete surfer nerd. I hardly ever get mad and when I do I don’t usually show it. I am very competitive yet shy and conservative. My favorite musical artist is Kid Cudi along with sublime, mac miller, and Lupe Fiasco.
